Ana Garcia robles joined ENoLL from the I2BC in Malaga with over 3 years Living Lab experience, dealing with a wide range of Open Innovation and User Driven Innovation projects and innovation communities. She has a Masters Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and an International Executive MBA. Ana has a strong industrial and technical background in the Telecommunications industry and has actively worked and collaborated in multiple national and international projects dealing with different areas such as R&D, design, implementation, innovation and technology strategy.
Andrew joined Lighthouse in August 2013. His background is in design, web technology, connected communities, and making. At Lighthouse, Andrew leads on the development and production of a selection of our programmes of digital culture and art, including a brand new interdisciplinary studio programme, launched in Spring 2014. Before joining Lighthouse, Andrew was head of strategy at digital agency Worth. He then spent 3 years freelancing as a digital strategy consultant, working in marketing, innovation and customer collaboration. In 2011, he co-founded Brighton Mini Maker Faire, the festival of DIY technology and grassroots innovation. His interest is in the opportunities opened up by ubiquitous access to digital tools, and the power of networked communities to innovate, create and effect change.
Callum is a specialist in culture and the creative industries. He is Deputy Director of the European Creative Business Network and an Associate Director at BOP Consulting. The European Creative Business Network (ECBN) connects creative hubs, incubators, and development agencies across Europe. The network has members in 18 of the 28 member states. At BOP (www.bop.co.uk) he leads on research and strategic planning projects for clients in the cultural and creative industries, including the European Commission, the Technology Strategy Board, the European Centre for the Creative Economy, British Film Institute, D&AD, Creative England, and many others. He has written business plans, feasibility studies, or strategies for nearly twenty creative hubs.

Catherine is the founder and Managing Director of Journey Associates, a dynamic innovation and design management consultancy offering user-focused research, analysis and strategic consultancy services. She has been involved in the fields of design and innovation for 19 years and has managed a range of national and international projects relating to design, innovation and sustainability. Catherine manages a team of designers and researchers and directs a range of design innovation projects that apply design thinking to explore complex issues, leading to user-focused and practical solutions for products and services in the public and private sectors. Current projects include the Design Innovation Support Programme for SMEs in partnership with Scottish Enterprise; the Future of Scottish Public Libraries pilot funded by Creative Scotland and in partnership with Argyll and Bute Council, Glasgow Life and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture; Re-Imagining Workforce Development and Planning for the Scottish Social Services Council and Climate Change Communications with Glasgow City Council.
Fernando Nabais manages the British Council Creative Economy Iberia programme and extends his activities to research, industry and education, while maintaining an independent artistic production in new media. An international award winner pioneer in areas such as augmented reality and natural user interaction, directed projects ranging from digital signage, immersive environments and social robotics, among many others, and their application to several vertical market segments such as advertising, and culture for many Fortune 500 companies and world renowned museums and cultural events. Several of these projects and their outcomes were covered by prestigious media such as the Wired magazine, both US and UK editions, MSNBC, The Economist, among many others. Fernando was the coordinator of the team that won the first Auggie Award for best augmented reality application at the Augmented Reality Event in 2010, San Francisco, USA. Co-authored several software and hardware patents. Fernando Nabais holds an Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, a MSc in Communication Sciences and is a PhD Candidate at the Nova University of Lisbon / UTAustin Digital Media program Individual and collaborative artistic work has been expressed in music projects and new media art from performance to installation that has been presented internationally.
Dr Jamie Coleman is Managing Director of CodeBase, the UK's largest tech incubator with companies such as Kotikan, MiiCard, Rightscale, Cloudsoft and Float as tenants. He is also currently founder and Director of the Turing Festival; a Board member of The Edinburgh International Festival; Director of Biospoke, an open medicine technology company and a Board Member of ScotlandIS, the Software Trade Body in Scotland. Jamie began his career in Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetic Pregnancy. He has been involved for many years in biotechnology and commercialisation within the Life Sciences. He has founded and acted as Director in companies involved in science animation, educational software and medical data.
Senior Strategy Executive at Creative England, Johanna is currently responsible for researching best practice in cluster development as part of a European Creative Industries Alliance €100m initiative, comparing cluster excellence in other sectors, analysing the factors that make a set of business support services, programmes and tools appropriate for the Creative Industries, and developing effective cluster strategies. She works with national and international partners to prepare regional and policy driven action plans e.g. Access to Finance, Cross-Sector Collaborations/Supply-Chain Development and Developing Entrepreneurship in Emerging Industries etc. and she manages the annual UK Creative Business Cup competition.
Paulo Soeiro de Carvalho is currently the General Director for Economy and Innovation in the Lisbon City Council. He is responsible for the areas of Economy/Investment, Entrepreneurship, Innovation/Knowledge, Strategic Clusters and Employment in the City Council. Paulo Soeiro de Carvalho is a researcher and an expert in Foresight, Strategy and Innovation, with more than 15 years of experience in consulting, teaching and training projects in those fields. He has been working in consulting projects in the fields of foresight, scenario planning, strategy and innovation with public and private organisations in different industries including telecommunications, electronics, software and tourism. Active in several academic and training activities, in the fields of Foresight and Scenario Planning, Strategy and Competitiveness, including the design and the scientific coordination of a Post Graduation in “Foresight, Strategy and Innovation”, advanced training seminars in “Scenario Planning and Strategic Agility” and “Strategy and Leadership”, in ISEG – Lisboa School of Management and Economics / Lisbon University. Born in 1969 in Lisbon, Paulo has a PhD in Management Sciences in the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, with a thesis entitled: “Scenarios as a tool to give context and sense to Weak Signals in a process of Competitive Intelligence”. Paulo graduated in Economics in 1994 (ISEG), concluded a Master in Economics and Management of Science and Technology (ISEG) in 1997 and a Master in Foresight and Strategy (Portuguese Institute for Financial and Fiscal Studies) in 1998.
Philippe Vanrie is since 1999 the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EBN, the leading pan-European Network bringing together 200 accredited Business & Innovation Centres (BICs), Innovation-based Incubators, and Entrepreneurship Centres across Europe and beyond. Philippe was instrumental in developing this unique community gathering thousands of smart innovators and entrepreneurs. A recognized expert and experienced speaker in innovation and incubation, Philippe has developed strong relationship and several collaborative projects with the European Commission (EC), the European Space Agency (ESA), and a series of national & regional Governmental Agencies. Graduated from the Gembloux (Belgium) Agronomic Engineering University, and from the University of Louvain (Belgium) in Innovation Management, Philippe started his career as statistician at the University of Brussels (ULB) and then joined the first European EC-BIC (Business and Innovation Centre) in Liège. Afterwards, he joined the private sector where he had senior Marketing and Business Development responsibilities within several SMEs leaders of their market, notably in Agro and Food Industry. During the last couple of years, Philippe initiated and conducted several partnerships between EBN small business incubation centres and several industry leaders such as BT, Procter & Gamble, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and Auchan. He also conducted pilot-schemes in the field of academic and industrial spin-off, clustering, international business cooperation, local economic development and technology transfer. Philippe has also served as an Advisory Board Member of the H-P Micro-Enterprise Acceleration Institute (MEA-I), the European Centre for Innovation in Geo-spatial and Location-Based Service, the European Region Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN), the International Network for SMEs (INSME), the Europa InterCluster Network, and has been chairing in 2010 the Jury of the 'Young European hopes of innovation'.
Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning has been the Managing Director of CKO since its establishment in 2008. Rasmus is also chairman of the European Creative Industries Alliance - ECIA - appointed by the European Commission DG Enterprise. In addition to CKO’s responsibility to promote entrepreneurship and growth in the creative industries and cross sector innovation, Rasmus is also responsible for several initiatives under the Nordic Council of Ministers initiative KreaNordon policy development and financing opportunities for creative businesses. As Director for CKO, Rasmus has launched Creative Business Cup, the world championships for entrepreneurs from the creative industries. He is an external lecturer on the subject “Creative Industries: Business, Innovation and Politics” and lectures internationally in French, English, German and Swedish. Rasmus has 19 years of experience related to the creative industries.
President, CEO of Factoría Cultural, Creative Industries Hub, Matadero-Madrid, Director of ARCO from 1986 to 2006, Rosina Gómez-Baeza was also Founding Director of the Biennial of Art, Architecture and Landscape of the Canary Islands (2005-2006), President of Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo (2005-2008) and Founding Director of LABoral, Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial in Asturias (2006-2011). After graduating in English Philology and Literature from Cambridge University, Gómez-Baeza went on to study Pedagogy at the London Polytechnic and Art History and French Civilisation at the Catholic University in Paris. She worked as a teacher and translator before joining Siasa Congresos as programme coordinator. She played an active role in the constitution of IFEMA, the Madrid trade fair institution, and was its first director of trade events and director of development. Throughout her professional life Rosina has played an instrumental role in many cultural initiatives associated with the production and diffusion of art. Among these are the Arco Foundation and Colección Arte Contemporáneo, the Experimental Film Festival of Madrid and Madrid Abierto public art programme. Gómez-Baeza was proactive in fostering research into Spanish artists, leading to the Enciclopedia de Arte Español del Siglo XX, published in 1992 by Mondadori. Gómez-Baeza has directed numerous contemporary art courses and forums and organised open calls and competitions enabling public access to video and digital artworks. Rosina has given talks at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, at Fundación Santillana, and other academic centres and art events.
